Project Brief:

Design a large single storey dwelling around the major features my clients required to be incorporated into their new home. Develop the approved design into detailed construction plans for the builder. Monitor construction to ensure the final product remained true to the original design and met all my client's requirements.

Like all my projects, this home is an individual design. I developed the initial design into detailed construction plans for the builder. Throughout the project I worked closely with both my clients, and with the builder, so that each stage of the construction could proceed smoothly, and to make sure the final product met all the expectations of my clients.

Design Features & Highlights :

This design features two alfresco areas, an attached Granny Flat, a large double garage, a cool room and a large attached car port to the front. Totaling 650m2, this home was designed and drawn up in June 2012, and the build was completed in March 2013.

Builder :

The builder for this project was Robert Biagioni Constructions based at Unit 3/39 McCoy Street, Myaree WA 6154.

This new home was drawn from a concept sketch provided by my clients. I further developed the design and drafted the construction plans to produce what you see in these photo's.

Design Features & Highlights :

The home features open plan living with a second kitchen & living area retreat with spare bedrooms for relatives to stay. Originally built in 2008/2009 an attached granny flat was added in late 2010.

Builder :

For this project my client had a new floor plan which I developed into working drawings. As much of the existing stucture as possible was kept, however as you can see from the before and after photos it has changed dramatically.

Provide a spacious outdoor area with the gable roof to add height & keep the area cool

during summer heat.

Provide a roof cover for the Museum’s existing rolling stock.
