A properly completed set of plans lets the builder know exactly what they’ll be constructing for you. Professionally developed plans also help local authorities to speed up any planning approvals required ahead of construction, saving time and often money.

In addition to residential drafting services, I can also measure up and provide businesses with plans for health and safety such as emergency evacuation plans, on-site traffic control plans, etc.

I also develop site and floor plans of existing facilities to submit to authorities such as Liquor Licensing.

A typical set of completed plans will consist of : 

• A site plan at a suitable scale, showing the location of all existing and proposed structures on the lot 
   
• A floor plan at 1:100 scale, showing the proposed structure/s and any existing that are attached or part of 
   
• Four elevations at 1:100 scale, showing the proposed structure and any existing that are attached or part of 
   
• An electrical layout at 1:100 scale 
   
• Section drawings at a suitable scale where appropriate 
   
• Construction details at a suitable scale where appropriate
